The
International Museum of the Student shows the history and culture of
students in different countries of the world. The web portal offers more
than ten thousand pages which are the result of original research and the
acquisition of pieces for exhibition.
The collection includes original material from the XVI to XXI and are
divided into seventeen sections: engravings, prints
& reproductions, photographs, clothing &
accessories, music scores & songbooks,
chapbooks, theatre and poetry,
novel,
documents, zarzuela, student life, magazines and newspapers,
cinema,
cards & post cards, musical recordings, musical instruments and
miscellaneous. The Museum offers library services, newspaper library,
songbook, historical dictionary, student news and visitor attention. Also
carries out other activities such as temporary exhibitions, conferences
and publications.
The Virtual Museum is about to discover is composed of two thousand
two hundred items
relating to students from sixty one countries. This is the only initiative
dedicated to international student life that has funds from the five
continents.
